It's that magical time when millions of Americans eagerly huddle around the TV to see the finest entertainment Western civilization has to offer.
Also, I think there's a game on, probably, but you can always skip that part or hit the bathroom.
Every year, companies pay big bucks to get their products and services out in front of the biggest TV audience in the United States, one that's actually watching the screen and not their phones. A 30-second commercial during Super Bowl 59 costs around $7 million, though some brands have reported paying closer to $8 million, according to USA TODAY Ad Meter, and Variety reports that some have paid as much as $4.5 million for pre-game ads.
And they make the most of it. Super Bowl ads are the wildest, weirdest, most star-studded mini-performances not actually on TikTok. Along with the ones presented below, watch for ads featuring Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt (Meta), Drew Barrymore and Orlando Bloom (MSC Cruises), Matthew McConaughey (Uber Eats), Hailee Steinfeld (Norvatis), Paris Hilton (Frank's Red Hot), Doja Cat (Taco Bell), singer and actress Becky G. (Mountain Dew Baja Blast) and more.
Here's a look at what's coming up this year, with a sneak peek at the ones that were released early.
